Fostering External Innovation: My Role as Head of IBM AlphaZone Accelerator

As the Head of Startup & Developer Ecosystem at IBM Israel, I was responsible for the IBM AlphaZone Accelerator. Founded in 2014, this was IBM's first startup accelerator in the world. The accelerator's mission was to build and execute partnerships between IBM and key early-stage Israeli startups.


We did this through a 20-week program, where we provided the startups with dedicated IBM resources, technical training, guidance, and support on how to partner with IBM. We also offered free office space for the startups to work from during the program, a vast network of mentors and VCs, and an investor Demo Day. After graduation, my team provided the startups with global business development support.
